As Howard University School of Divinity's Director of Student Affairs, I have the honor of shepherding students through one of the most transformative periods in their lives. My approach centers on the whole student, functioning as an advisor, counselor, and director of student life. My role integrates the practical, administrative, and spiritual. I am called to help steward the next generation of spiritual leaders.

Our school's rich legacy of leading, in the words of Howard Thurman, with head and heart, shapes students to be leaders and innovators. We equip students to follow the "genuine in their own soul" while upholding the standard of a rigorous educational experience.

The Howard University School of Divinity celebrates Black intellectual prowess and diversity of religious experience and identity. We cultivate beloved community, vocational exploration, and assert justice as the truest expression of the Divine. Students are the heartbeat of our institution, and it brings me joy to return to my beloved Alma Mater to move us Divinity Forward!
